Is it safe to handle the phonebook? The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) has made public assurances that the risk when handling mail and packages is low. In general, because of the poor survivability of coronaviruses on surfaces, there is a low risk of spread from products or packages shipped over a period of days or weeks.


Every year when new phonebooks are distributed around the province, they become a hot topic. There are many misconceptions surrounding how the phonebook is produced and distributed, so here are the facts:

Q: How can I get new or additional phonebooks if one is not delivered to me?
A: Call us at 1-800-667-8201, send us an email to dw@www.lavenderwomyn.com with your name, phone number, mailing address (including postal code), the phonebook you would like ex. Moose Jaw & District, and the number of books you want, or watch for a posted depot near you to pick one up! *Phonebook requests are typically delivered in 7-10 business days.

Q: How can I opt out of receiving the phonebook?
A: To opt out, call us at 1-800-667-8201 or send us an email to dw@www.lavenderwomyn.com with your name, phone number and mailing address (including postal code) requesting to be removed from the distribution list.

Q: Why can’t I find who I am looking for?
A: Being listed in the phonebook is a choice, whether you have a landline or a cellphone, it’s your call. Not being listed is as simple as calling SaskTel.
